"Dark Roost" Print

Dark Roost is a 6x6 an oil painting of a black Silkie chicken. Full of fluffy texture and moody, rich tones. I painted it with cozy fall vibes in mind, but like all my seasonal pieces, I made sure it’s something you can keep out and enjoy all year long.

The small size makes it easy to style anywhere. Propped on a kitchen shelf, tucked into a gallery wall, or sitting pretty on a desk or side table. The deep blacks and soft, warm background work with so many different color palettes, from rustic and farmhouse to clean and modern.

It’s one of those pieces that just makes a space feel a little warmer and more interesting, no matter the season.
