"Cook's Companion" Original

This one makes me smile because it reminds me of such a sweet season of life. I painted it when my baby was about the size of an onion, and instead of painting just the onion, I added garlic too because I couldn't picture one without the other. I love to cook, and it feels like almost every meal I make starts with these two ingredients, so they felt familiar and comforting to paint.
